Horse Stuff
I have loved horses my whole life and Marvin and I are fortunate enough to live where we can have them. As the herdsman for Gardels Lazy Four Angus, we live on what was a Quarter Horse breeding facility, so not only do we have lovely stalls and pasture, but also have an arena.
Marvin rides for work, so we always need a good horse. We recently sold our two geldings and have just found one we both like and will share. He's a palomino paint named Classic Flash (Cash, for short) and is a really good minded, honest horse. We also have two mares and a yearling gelding.
My mare, Do Credit Her or "Dewey", is the daughter of Investment Creditor. She is my perfect type of horse and a real sweet-heart. I love a horse that loves people, and that describes Dewey perfectly. She loves to be groomed and fussed over and fussing over a horse is the best way to relax. She delivered her third foal June 4, 2007. He is a handsome colt named To Bodees Credit - the sire, Smart Little Gembo, is a grandson of Peptoboonsmal and Smart Little Lena.

This is our new colt (barn name Max) -- born June 4, 2007. He is a very correct sorrel with a beautiful head and his mom's disposition. He is filling out to show some nice muscling and is also displaying what an athlete he'll be, running, stopping and doing tight roll-backs on his own. We are working with him - he's not afraid of ropes or other obstacles we have tried him on. All in all, we think he's going to be a heck of a horse.
Tuesday is a gorgeous filly (Ms Tuesday Te). Her sire is a roping horse and is standing in Oklahoma and her mom was a great reining horse for some local people. Tuesday is just pretty perfect - short, muscular and correct, and has a beautiful head on top of it all.
She is very nice-minded, the kind of horse you want to be around - I look forward to many trails rides with her.
